40 Years of Action
For more than 40 years, PSR-LA has been bringing the voices of health professionals to the front lines of the fight for a safer future, and working hand in hand with communities impacted by environmental racism, pollution, and injustice. PSR-LA began by advocating for an end to the nuclear arms race and nuclear weapons abolition, a fight that continues to this day.

Today, we elevate the trusted voices of healthcare professionals to support transformative, community-led movements for environmental justice and nuclear disarmament. Our programs equip doctors, nurses, public health workers, allied health care professionals, and students with the tools they need to successfully advocate for policies that foster healthier, stronger communities across Los Angeles, Southern California, and beyond.
