Emma Silber
Climate Justice Program Coordinator
Emma is the Climate Justice Program Coordinator, working primarily on campaigns to end neighborhood oil and gas drilling at the city, county, and state levels. She supports coordination of the STAND-LA coalition and represents PSR-LA in other county and statewide climate justice and fossil fuel phaseout coalitions. She focuses on issues that intersect the topics of climate, public health, and equity. Emma graduated from Occidental College in 2023 with a degree in Urban and Environmental Policy and a minor in Public Health. As a student, she became interested in the issue of oil and gas in Los Angeles. Emma interned for the STAND-LA coalition, as well as conducted independent and collaborative research on oil sites in Los Angeles as part of the Environmental Justice Research Group at Occidental College.
Outside of the office, Emma enjoys crafting, being in nature, and continuing to explore Los Angeles!
