Mithzy Hernandez works as the Communications Manager, leading the organization’s communications and membership strategies to build power around public health, environmental justice, and nuclear abolition. Her role extends to providing support to PSR-LA’s longstanding coalitions and operations.

As a native Angeleno, just a bike ride away from the beach and a bus ride to downtown, she developed a deep appreciation for LA’s built environment and the communities that call the county home. She earned a BA in Environmental Studies from the University of San Diego and has worked in the environmental nonprofit sector for nearly a decade.

In her spare time, she enjoys eating her way through LA, a nice lake, traveling to the mountains, and lazing about with her dog, Willa.
