PSR-LA Statement on Labor Strikes

From Hollywood writers and actors to hotel and UPS employees, the fight for fair wages and better working conditions speaks volumes about the growing hardships and difficulties of living in a post-COVID world. In the last two decades, Los Angeles and cities across the nation have seen accelerated gentrification and displacement. As a public health organization, we know first-hand how social, environmental, and economic circumstances can shape our health. PSR-LA stands in solidarity with all workers in Los Angeles fighting for living salaries and just working conditions.
