Nov 10 — Legislative Briefing on Environmental Toxins and Disparities

Speakers and organizers of the January 2010 CA Capitol briefing highlighting the links between pesticides and reproductive health.

PSR-LA is continuing our commitment to educating legislators and their staff on the emerging public health science and advocacy opportunities by partnering with the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Earlier this year, PSR-LA member Dr. Robin E. Johnson and PSR-LA Executive Director Martha Dina Arguello were featured speakers at a January 19, 2010 Sacramento briefing on reproductive health and endocrine disruptors and pesticides. Also a featured speaker was Tracey Woodruff, PhD, MPH- Associate Professor and Director, Program on Reproductive Health and the Environment, UCSF, who served as a trainer in our 2009 Environmental Health Ambassador Training, “Exploring the Links Between Women’s Reproductive Health and Chemicals”.

On November 10, 2010, please join ACOG and community co-sponsors, including PSR-LA for the briefing: “Environmental Toxins and Disparities” in the State Capitol. See the full invitation below!
