Please join Physicians for Social Responsibility-Los Angeles and the Los Angeles Area Disarmament Coalition on Sunday, August 9 at the Higashi Honganji Temple in Little Tokyo for a commemoration of the 64th anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki followed by a mindful walk to City Hall.
Participants are encouraged to bring umbrellas to symbolize their desire to be protected from radioactive fallout.
PSR-LA Board Member Dr. Jimmy Hara was a be a featured speaker and serve as emcee. Other speakers include:
